Smartrek Monitoring Systems – H2O
Location: Back Warehouse
Have you heard about a vacuum monitoring system, and wondered how it works, or what can do with one? We have been using the Smartrek system in our own woods for several seasons now. In this seminar, representatives from H2O will explain how their monitoring system works, what you can do with a monitoring system, and how it can help your operation be more profitable. This seminar is geared towards producers with vacuum systems, or ones thinking about adding vacuum to their tubing system.

Reverse Osmosis for the Smaller Producer – David Butler
Location: Back Warehouse
Are you thinking of investing in an RO, but have no idea how to operate one, or what else you will need besides the RO? This seminar will cover the basics of an RO: how an RO works, selecting the right size RO, set up and operating an RO. David will also share some of the benefits of owning an RO.

Maple Candy Demonstration – Dwayne Hill
Location: Main Building, Downstairs by the Evaporator
Have you ever wanted to learn how to make maple candy? Dwayne Hill has been producing maple confections for many years and has done many demonstrations over the years. In this class Dwanye will share some of his expertise and will demonstrate how he makes maple candy. Those that want to will have the opportunity to fill candy molds using a candy machine.

Mainline and Tubing the Easy Way – David Butler
Location: Back Warehouse
Does tubing seem overwhelming to you? From choosing which tubing to use, what size mainline to run, and the best spouts to use- where does one begin? David will explain some of the differences between materials, guidelines for setting up a tubing system, the tools needed, and some helpful tips to make the process easier and more productive. If you have questions about your woods or tubing in general this is an opportunity to ask and get your questions answered.

Maple Coated Nuts – Scott Reed and Dwayne Hill
Location: Main Building, Downstairs by the Evaporator
Scott and Dwayne will team up to demonstrate how to make maple coated nuts. They will show how they make different maple coated nuts, and teach you how you can make your own too.
